At Maximus Resources, we are committed to recognising our impact and are taking steps to ensure we are conscious of our environmental, social and corporate presence.
We are focused on operating sustainably, ensuring the health and safety of our people, and working to build strong relationships with communities and Traditional Land Owners and Aboriginal peoples.
We are taking responsibility and action for our impact across environmental, social and corporate governance factors and working towards formalising our commitment to incorporating ESG into our activities aligned to the UN-supported Principles of Responsible Investment (UNPRI). ESG are a set of three standards, which demonstrate key commitments on important issues:
Environment
Representing the notable impact a company has on the environment, and the actionable steps they are taking to reduce its overall footprint.
Social
Addressing a company’s relationship and devotion to equality, diversity and inclusivity as well as external impact and action within the community.
Governance
The way a company governs itself in terms of ethical decisions, leadership, executive pay and shareholder rights.
