Maximus is in a great position for a nickel sulphide discovery, being in one of the most prolific nickel sulphide belts in the world, located 25km from the BHP concentrator. Nickel was not a priority for previous gold-focused tenement owners, although there have been two high-grade nickel-producing mines on the tenements.

The Company continues to build a pipeline of nickel exploration targets through the systematic exploration of untested geochemical anomalies.

Our gold projects are centred around the Wattle Dam gold project, where there is existing infrastructure and a series of shallow gold resources. Wattle Dam Gold Project was one of Australia’s highest-grade gold mines, mined over a short 4-year period until 2012, in today’s gold market, recovered over A$900 million worth of gold and is a great example of the enormous wealth that can be created from one of these high-grade discoveries.

The Company’s Spargoville tenements are ideally located with access to significant infrastructure adjacent to the national highway, proximal to several toll-treating processing plants.

Maximus’ multi-commodity portfolio includes two advanced lithium projects located in Western Australia’s highly prospective Eastern Goldfields Lithium-Cesium-Tantalum (LCT) Province, located near Mineral Resources Limited’s (ASX:MIN) Mt Marion Lithium mine.

The Lefroy Lithium Project is in a joint venture with the Korean Government's mining agency, KOMIR providing US$3 million of exploration funding to acquire 30% interest in the project. KOMIR is responsible for ensuring the security of critical minerals for the Korean market, and this extends to the development of overseas capacity to supply into the market. 

The Larkinville Lithium Project (75% Maximus - 25% Develop Global Ltd (ASX:DVP)) is located approximately ~10km south of the Company’s Lefroy Lithium Project.  At Larkinville a large spodumene-bearing pegmatite swarm spanning ~1.2km long and ~1.4km wide has been mapped assisted by high-resolution drone surveys and soil geochemistry mapping.
